The Love Supreme Jazz Festival is pleased to confirm it’s headliners for the inaugural event on the 5th, 6th & 7th July in Glynde Place near Brighton
Headlining the Saturday night will be Bryan Ferry & The Bryan Ferry Orchestra who will bringing live UK premier of his ‘Jazz Age’ album to Love Supreme as well as a set of classics from his extensive catalogue. Closing the festival on the Sunday will be the Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra who have garnered a reputation for providing the best party atmosphere that music can offer for over 20 years
They will be joined by multi-million selling American disco stars Chic ft. Nile Rodgers, Soul-folk singer and BBC’s Sound of 2012 winner Michael Kiwanuka, the triple Grammy nominated Melody Gardot, the first jazz artist to win a coveted Grammy Award for best New Artist Esperanza Spalding as well as Acid-Jazz pioneers Brand New Heavies
Also appearing across the 3 days will be Marcus Miller, Robert Glasper Experiment, Branford Marsalis Quartet, Gregory Porter, Courtney Pine, Portico Quartet, Andreya Triana, Neil Cowley Trio, Soweto Kinch, The Soul Rebels, Naturally 7, Snarky Puppy, Kairos 4tet, The Lucinda Belle Orchestra, Roller Trio, Gwyneth Herbert, Three Trapped Tigers, Gogo Penguin, Josephine, Zara McFarlane & Matthew Lee.
White Mink vs. Peppermint Candy & Funky Sensation will be each hosting a night in the club tent bringing some of the biggest names in swing & funk clubbing to the event
